Zou Lei, Chairman of China Datang, attended the Belt and Road CEO Conference upon invitation in Beijing on Tuesday, and witnessed the signing of key agreement for the Pak Beng Hydropower Project between China Datang Overseas Investment Co., Ltd. and the Lao Ministry of Energy and Mines during the conference.

The Belt and Road CEO Conference, as the opening event of the third Belt and Road Forum for International Cooperation (BRF), brought together government officials, representatives of international organizations and renowned entrepreneurs from various countries and regions. Chinese Vice Premier He Lifeng attended the conference and delivered a speech.

The conference issued the "The Belt and Road CEO Conference Beijing Declaration," and held a signing ceremony of business agreements.

Nearly 300 Chinese and foreign representatives signed cooperation agreements at the ceremony. The agreements, which cover such areas as infrastructure, clean energy, artificial intelligence, biomedicine, financial services, modern agriculture, and rail transit, are expected to inject fresh vitality into high-quality cooperation under the framework of the Belt and Road Initiative (BRI).

Senior executives from relevant departments of China Datang also participated in the conference.
